So just a quickie to share another of my art jounal pages with you today... hope you like.
My queen of flowers is completely digital... using this gorgeous lady as the focus and building up layers from the kit to create the background and give her her crown....
and this atc is done the traditional way using one of my painty backgrounds and images from the kit that have been printed out and then placed where I wanted them. Would you have known the difference I wonder :D
The giveaway is open to ANYONE but you MUST leave a comment on THIS post to be entered into the draw. If you don't have an active blog then you must include your email address in your comment so that I can contact you should you be a winner.
secondly I have a fabric arch ...

Don't quite know what kind of music she could be dancing to (answers on a postcard please...rofl) but it's definitely the fish dance!!
Now because I've been sloshing around with paint for my backgrounds etc I thought it would be nice to share. So here are 7 of the ones I liked most. Feel free to grab them (click on each picture and then 'save as') Each piece is scanned at 300dpi and will print out at approx 5" x7" but will print out larger if you use a lower resolution. Use them for your atc's, art backgrounds, cards etc.... printed out or digital if you prefer. I'd love to see anything you create using them so leave me a comment and a link if you do so I can come see. :D
I thought I'd share with you the four other zetti style atc's I did and some others I completed too. As I can only swap the first lot through the ATC club I thought I'd put these ones up for swap on my blog.
Actually did some stamping...
and doodling....
some collage...
and some watercolour backgrounds too as a home to my luscious ladies...lol
I would never have been brave enough to have been a Goth but doing a Gothic atc was such a lotta fun.
Teesha Moore usually paints her backgrounds first but I was too impatient to wait for paint to dry ( when I wanna do something... I need to do it now...lol) so after adding my magazine cuttings to my pages ...I filled in the gaps in the background with coloured pencil and I'm glad to say I ended up really happy with the result.
Teesha's style is so vibrant and colourful and doing these pages filled me with excitement ( now that's a novelty for me ). I really was absorbed in what I was doing and I've even begun another 3 pages... so for a little while at least I guess this is my new thing lol
