challenges that is :D I used my pretty lady from below to make a card that fits with The Daring Cardmakers Challenge which is ' Ice and Snow' and The Shabby Tea Room Challenge using 'stripes'. I'm also joining in with Gingersnap Creations Challenge for the first time with their 'Shades of Blue'.
I made a round card for a change which reminds me of a snowball...lol but also used cold colours to fit in with DCM theme. There are lots of hand drawn stripes for TSTR theme... I am so into sketching and colouring right now so this was fun.
I drew lots of funny shaped flowers and leaves and coloured those and the striped border with my blue Sakura Glaze pen. I love these pens because they give a gorgeous shiny embossed look.
Unfortunately this wasn't really picked up well with my photos but I can assure you that the blue bits really shine and glisten. I used 3d pads under my flowers and the main image cos I love things to be 3d. It's a long time since I spent this long on a card but it was really therapeutic. Think I need to be sketching and colouring a lot more :D
Thanks for looking and don't forget you can get your own glam girlie free from the post below.
Hugs

Wow, Chris, the sketch and card are just beautiful! You definitely have an awesome talent there! Dawn thought of a great name, Sapphire. She certainly isn't scooter trash, rofl. She looks a little more elegant than that!
OMG Chris she is a beauty. Wonderful colors on your card. Beautiful created. Love it.
Have a sunny weekend my friend.
I really love what you have done with that freebie you have generously offered us. When I first saw her, before you added her to any card, I immediately thought "bright eyes." I still think that, but I realize it's pretty generic.
OMG you are so so talented in every area there is nothing you wont try and get there in the end a few months ago you couldnt do faces..well you can now...lol.
A name well and this has just come to me...honest, just as I am typing.. I think she would suit the name
'Hattie'.
Although got to agree qith the 'bright eyes' from elizabeth.
have a nice weekend.
