Sunday Stamper challenge - wings

Catching up with a few challenges now I'm home and I had to take part in Hels'  Sunday Stamper challenge which is 'Wings'.  This seems to be a really popular theme with everyone lately and I'm glad cos I just adore things with wings... butterflies.. birds... fairies...oooooer  gorgeous :D

I adore the new chipboard shapes from Crafty Individuals and I love the way you get double for your money if you cut around the outer shape once you've pushed out the chipboard pieces... you can then create more frames of different look and size... cooooool.   I am also addicted to the Crafty Individuals butterfly stamps...they are just so delicate and all sizes so there is always one to fit what I want to create.

I've used alcohol inks to decorate the frame and the paper behind is one of the ones that Patty kindly sent me when I won her fab giveaway... I don't know how she created it but it is even more gorgeous in real life.. all coppery and shiny... wonderful.

Gondola mini card

There's a new blog on the block.... challenge blog that is... by the name of Anything goes challenge blog...love it.  Anyway the first challenge has the theme of wings with the colours blue, yellow and brown so I thought I would enter this stand up mini card which I hope ticks all the boxes.  There isn't much brown...but it is there if you look closely :D

I really enjoyed making this and it's only about 2.5" tall...cute eh. The stamps and image I used are all Crafty Individuals.

Anyway if you are looking for a new challenge pop over and support the girlies on the DT team cos they have some lovely creations to share :D

Tuesday taggers challenge-love is all around.

Last minute creation for this weeks Tuesday taggers challenge but I have been browsing through my files and discovered some digi stuff that I had long since forgotten about and thought it would be fun to create a little digi tag.

It was lots of fun to create and soooo easy... I like easy lol

Artygirlz challenge-Home Inspiration

I decided to enter my first challenge since my return to blogland with the Artygirlz. This week the prompt is to take inspiration from something in your home... using shape, colour, etc from your item and create a project based on it.
So my altered tissue box is based on the colours of my lickle fluffy teddy bear... proper softy aren't I ...lol
The fab papers are from the new Papermania collections and I have been dying to use them because they are just lush... and kind to the pocket too....just what I need when I can't stop putting my fingers in my purse and parting with my pennies. I just get so totally get naughty when faced with shelves of crafty goodies and I know I'm not the only one...eh girls ;-)

I decided I wanted to use a big flower so made this one rather than use the silky ones that I have been drawn to lately... much more satisfying to put that extra bit of effort into what I'm making making something sometimes.

Now isn't this little owl the most adorable little lady... I just had to use her... I cut her from one of the Papermania papers a few times so that I could decoupage her wings :) So not only was I inspired to create something from an item in the home.... I also acquired another pretty addition to decorate it and drool over.
