A New Year and a New beginning... I have created a new blog filled with old and new art. It is time for me to focus on something new. I will be leaving this blog open for inspiration and so I can look back at what I have achieved in the future but I will be adding no further content here.

Rose frame

My newest purchase is a sheet of these chipboard frames from Crafty Individuals and they are so adorable and adaptable.  I couldn't wait to get one or two inked up when they arrived although they are white coated so look beautiful enough without any inking.

I've also been playing with air dry clay and managed to make me this pretty rose which I coloured with Red Brick distress ink.  I love the fact that the same distress ink used on different surfaces takes on a whole new look and colour depending on how porous the surface is.

I added a wee bit of ribbon and these gorgeous pink pearly things that my pal Chriss gave me ages ago... they are so pretty.  The lady image is from Crafty Individuals stamped onto Papermania paper.

Thanks for looking
hugs
Chris xx

I've never seen these frames before, but you did a great job of fancying it up. I've never worked with air dry clay, either. I bet for this process, it would be easier to use than polymer clay. Your entire project turned out splendid.
