The winner has been announced for the altered envelope challenge over at The Papergirls blog and Femmy is a really worthwhile winner. Pop over to the Papergirls blog and check out the winning entry and the other girls' creations there are some amazing ones!! The next challenge is to alter an old cd, adding words from a magazine and I am really looking forward to that one. Anyone can take part so if you are up for a bit of altering then get your entry in too :)
This was my altered envelope entry... did you guess...lol
The images are all stamps from Crafty individuals except the lady on the phone (nabbed from a magazine) and the telephone and wire which I drew and cut out. So different from what I usually do but I am enjoying experimenting at the moment.
Just a quickie for today as I am off to take DG home... had a lovely weekend but am shattered, don't know how I got through raising DD sometimes lol
Have a great evening
hugs
Chris xx

I love drawing images and then cutting them out to paste on cards, etc. Your cards are very inspiring, Chris! I have a counsin who works for the Post Office and loves when peoples envelopes are decorated. It gives her something pretty to look at while delivering the mail and always puts a smile on her face. Have a great day! XXX, Kristen.
Oh I love your envelope. There is so much going on in that woman's life. No wonder she is on the telephone! I never decorate envelopes but I should because I always love when mail arrives in one as drop dear gorgeous as yours.
what a beautifully decorated envelope! love all details, there is so much going on in her life!!
Hi Chris
Your envelope is awesome, I was torn in my voting between 3 and yours was definately 1 of them. I don't want to say who's I did vote for, as they were all amazing. It was my 1st attempt {actually, make that 2nd, the 1st I didn't meet the criteria} but was my 1st time entering something.
I am looking forward to altering a CD now!
The competition is so strong though, so I don't envisage a win, but I do it for the fun of it and enjoy taking part, and thats what counts huh?
I completely agree with you, when you say you wonder how you managed with your DD, compared to looking after children now lol must be an age thing, but we wouldn't change it for the world, would we?
